The Niles Lesh Project - NLP - explores the phenomenon of infotainment. The alarming trend of how many people get their news from comedy shows like: SNL, Bill Mahr, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report
and the Onion. Most viewer cannot tell where the comedy ends and the News begins. The producers of these shows have the perfect out when they differ to saying its not news it comedy. It really is a synthesis of both Comedy and news. Lies mixed with the truth for a comic effect. What if there was an additional agenda behind the comedy, such as blurring the truth, disinformation, obfuscation and subversion ?

OBAMA'S SLUMDOGS ???
The excitement of the Academy Award season is contrasted with the excitement of the new president and his amazing economy or Obanomy. This new $4 trillion behemoth will triple the size of the US government by the end of 2010. It promises to cure the credit crisis, the housing crisis, the employment crisis and maybe even cancer ! Niles Lesh urges everyone to curb their enthusiasm al la Larry David, with some wry sarcasm and wit, oh and don't worry cause Obama is putting Joe Biden in charge ..."and nobody messes with Joe " !
